Man dies after 20-foot fall inside Fort Worth industrial building, officials say

A man in his mid-20s died Tuesday afternoon after falling inside an industrial building in southeast Fort Worth, officials said.

Fort Worth police said the call came in at 2:07 p.m. from an industrial area in the 10000 block of Old Burleson Road.

According to Fort Worth Fire, the man fell about 20 feet while inside the building. When firefighters arrived, he was already dead, a department spokesperson said. The victim’s identity was not immediately released.

Images from WFAA’s chopper showed crime scene tape, and workers gathered near a curb as police investigated.

FWPD said the investigation is ongoing.
