A Dallas man is behind bars after police say he was found in a Galveston hotel room with a 12-year-old girl who’d been reported missing hours earlier.

Graham Dunn, 27, was arrested on an aggravated kidnapping charge, and police said more charges are possible.

According to court documents, the girl told investigators Dunn forced her into his car around 7 p.m. on Friday while she was out walking her dog in the area of 11 Mile Road.

She said he drove her to the Galveston Beach Hotel on Seawall Boulevard and gave her two pills that made her feel “woozy,” court documents state.

Investigators said the girl also told them that Dunn touched her sexually and recorded it on his phone.

The girl’s family contacted authorities when her dog returned home without her. Police said her phone pinged at the hotel, and they were able to obtain surveillance footage showing the suspect walking inside with the victim.

Police said they forced entry to Dunn’s room around 10:30 p.m. when he refused to fully open the door.

According to court documents, Dunn was wearing only his boxers while the victim was lying on a bed with her pants down.

Video recorded by independent police observer Harvey Freebird Friday night shows a man in boxers being led from the hotel to a waiting police car.

Records show three separate women accused Dunn of crimes in North Carolina last year.

At the time of his arrest on Friday, he was out on bond on sexual battery and secret peeping charges while also fighting a false imprisonment charge.

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office confirmed he also had a warrant out for insufficient bond arising from a family violence case.

“All those charges were misdemeanor charges. I’ve never had a felony charge on my record,” Dunn told a magistrate during a court appearance Saturday.

“Well, you’ve got one now, and it’s a serious one,” the magistrate retorted.

Dunn’s bond was set at $500,000.
