FORT WORTH, Texas — A 66-year-old woman has died following a shooting incident on Tahiti Lane, and police are investigating a related earlier shooting involving juveniles.

On January 30, 2026, officers from the Fort Worth Police Department responded to two separate shooting incidents in the 3400 block of Tahiti Lane. At approximately 8:51 p.m., Fort Worth Fire arrived at a residence on Tahiti Lane for a reported medical call. Upon further medical evaluation at the hospital, it was determined that the woman had sustained a gunshot wound. Despite life-saving measures, she succumbed to her injuries, according to a press release from the department.

Detectives have learned that three juvenile individuals were involved in a shooting prior to the fatal incident near the location of the fatal shooting. Investigators are actively working to identify these juveniles, stated the source.
