EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — The UIL announced alignment and districts for the 2026-2028 football seasons on Monday.

All divisions are based on school enrollment size.

In El Paso, both Hanks and Horizon have moved up from 5A Division II to 5A Division I.

Andress has been moved down from 5A Division II to 4A. The Golden Eagles won a share of the District 1 5A Division II this past season and were eliminated in the second round of the UIL State Playoffs.
