PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KFSN) — Three people are dead following a house fire in Porterville early Wednesday morning.
Officials say the flames broke out at a home near the intersection of Plano Avenue and Harrison Street around 12:30 am.
When fire crews arrived, they found the two-story home engulfed in flames and immediately started searching for the residents.
An adult and two juveniles were found inside. All three of them were declared dead at the scene.
Officials say two others were able to escape the fire.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The identities of the three victims have not been released.
