OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WALA) – The second of two teens in a 2023 swatting incident has been sentenced, the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office said today.
Camwryn Gulley of Mansfield, Texas, was sentenced Tuesday in an Okaloosa County courtroom to four years in a state prison, following by five years of probation, the OCSO said.

The incident happened in November 2023. The Crestview Police Department received a call claiming that an armed person planned to shoot students at Baker School. The call prompted the lockdown of Baker, Crestview High School and other schools, which then prompted a massive response by law enforcement and other first responders, the OCSO said.
OCSO investigators traced the call to an address in Mansfield, Texas, where the Mansfield Police Department interviewed Gulley, the OCSO said.
According to investigators, Gulley was connected to Landyn Whittington, a Baker, Florida, teen who was involved in multiple swatting incidents in other states.
Last June, Whittington was sentenced to four years in state prison, followed by two years of probation, the OCSO said.
