EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — The El Paso Downtown Arts District has been nominated by USA Today for a top ten spot in the Best Arts District category.
Known for its stunning Art Deco and Spanish colonial revival architecture, the district is home to magnificent murals celebrating Mexican-American history and cultural landmarks such as the Plaza Theatre and the El Paso Museum of Art, according to city officials.
Residents are encouraged to support the local creative community by voting before the Feb. 16 deadline.
