HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A 13-year-old girl is dead after she was stabbed in northwest Houston, the Houston Police Department said.
HPD said officers responded to the 8000 block of Grow Lane on Wednesday night.
Officers said the girl was rushed to the hospital, where she was declared dead. They added that a 10-year-old boy was detained.
Officials did not say who stabbed the girl.
