JAMBALOO MUSIC FESTIVAL

FREE After debuting last year, Jambaloo is back and even bigger, with nearly 30 free concerts across 14 North Texas venues. In addition to performances by Tripping Daisy, Low Cut Connie, Catie Turner and a host of other acts, Jambaloo will offer panel discussions, late-night programming focused on DJ and vinyl culture, and more. The festival kicks off with the invitation-only Jambaloo Symposium at Tulips in Fort Worth on Feb. 7 at 5:30 p.m., with a discussion on music trends, challenges facing local venues and strategies for strengthening the local music ecosystem. A student showcase Feb. 15 at 3 p.m. at the Granada Theater will welcome performers from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. HARLAND WILLIAMS

Harland Williams made his film debut in Dumb and Dumber in 1994, and he’s been stealing scenes ever since. The actor-comedian has appeared in Half Baked, There’s Something About Mary, The Whole Nine Yards and Sorority Boys, and he’s lent his voice to films including Robots, Meet the Robinsons and Sausage Party. Known for being equally adept in stand-up and sketch comedy, Williams will bring his brand of smart, surreal humor to Dallas for one night only as part of his “Comzilla Tour.”

RUMOURS ATL: A FLEETWOOD MAC TRIBUTE

This Atlanta-based group has been performing for more than a decade, earning acclaim as one of the best Fleetwood Mac tribute acts around. The band is in the midst of a national tour and will even do a run of shows in the Netherlands in April. Watch them perform iconic songs like “Rhiannon” and “Go Your Own Way” at this all-ages show in Arlington.

CUPID’S CRAWL

Back for its ninth year, this Dallasites101 pub crawl down Greenville Avenue will offer Valentine’s Day-themed cocktails, photo ops, a live DJ, pop-ups and more. More than a dozen bars and retail shops will take part in the 21-and-up event, with participants given a wristband to signal to bars that they’re taking part in the crawl. While themed attire isn’t required, organizers say that many participants will be decked out in pink and red and wearing hearts. Participants can check in at Four Day Weekend Comedy Club between noon and 2:30 p.m. Stan’s Blue Note, a sports bar on Greenville Avenue, will host an afterparty with karaoke from 5 to 7 p.m.

Enjoy some Southern-fried laughs as Graeson McGaha brings his brand of relatable humor to North Texas. SHOWTIME SATURDAY: MAGIC MIKE

FREE First, let’s make one thing clear: This is not related to Channing Tatum or his 2012 film Magic Mike. Instead, expect a family-friendly performance as Mike Williams, a.k.a. the original Magic Mike, stops by the Galleria Dallas for the mall’s weekly children’s show. The Dallas-based magician has more than two decades of experience entertaining crowds of all ages. Known for an act that mixes comedy with magic, the entertainer should have plenty of tricks up his sleeve. He’ll be on Level 3, near the Play Place.

FREE Gear up for Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show at this 21-and-up party at Plano’s Legacy Hall. A DJ will play nonstop reggaetón and Latin club hits — with a healthy serving of the Puerto Rican singer and rapper — all night long. Although it is a free event, organizers stress that RSVPing does not guarantee entry, which is on a first-come, first-served basis.

ARTS AND LETTERS LIVE: VICTORIA CHRISTOPHER MURRAY

The Dallas Museum of Art continues the 35th season of its popular Arts and Letters Live series by welcoming bestselling author Victoria Christopher Murray, who will discuss her book Harlem Rhapsody with WFAA-TV’s Dia Wall. The historical fiction novel was inspired by the life of Jessie Redmon Fauset, who was dubbed “the midwife of the Harlem Renaissance” by Langston Hughes. NPR named Harlem Rhapsody one of the best books of 2025. A special showing of works by Harlem artist Jacob Lawrence will be on view in the Horchow Auditorium lobby exclusively for the event.

Los Angeles-based comedian Becky Robinson has become a viral sensation with her “Entitled Housewife” character, racking up more than 19 million likes on TikTok. The golf-obsessed character, known for her over-the-top suburban persona, was born during the COVID-19 pandemic and has appeared in a pair of comedy specials. Robinson also works as a voice actor on Nickelodeon’s animated series Middlemost Post, and she was a regular on MTV’s Wild ’n Out. Potterheads should appreciate this immersive celebration of all things Harry Potter, which was recently extended into April. Visitors can see authentic movie props, actor-worn costumes and re-creations of iconic scenes and settings, and they can also hone their Quidditch skills, brew potions, cast spells and pot a Mandrake.
