LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – After eight months, a murder warrant has been issued for a 23-year-old man by the Lubbock Metropolitan Special Crimes Unit.
The department solved the case connected with the shooting-death of 33-year-old Roshaud Ward.

In May 2025, Lubbock police responded to reports of a dead body on the 3400 block of 23rd St. just before 6 p.m.
On that day, officers found Ward with a gunshot wound where he was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Wednesday, a warrant for murder was issued for Enoch Irvin Jr., who is in prison on an unrelated charge in Fort Stockton. He will be extradited to Lubbock County after his sentence is done with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
