LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Lubbock Christian University will host Homecoming 2026 from Feb. 12-14, featuring events for alumni, families and the community.
The weekend includes the return of the Homecoming 5K Run/Walk, with proceeds supporting student scholarships. Both Lady Chap and Chap basketball teams will play home games Thursday and Saturday.
The 2026 Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned during Thursday evening’s Chap basketball game. Saturday’s men’s game will include halftime recognition of the Lady Chap 2016 National Championship Team.
Master Follies, a student-led variety show, will feature original musical presentations from LCU’s men’s and women’s social club organizations. Student performers will emcee the shows, which include choreographed numbers with humorous lyrics as groups compete for awards.
“Homecoming is about coming back to what makes LCU special — relationships, shared memories, and community,” said Lisa Fraze, Director of Alumni Relations at LCU. “We love seeing alumni reconnect with old friends while also experiencing the energy and creativity of today’s students.”
Tickets remain available for Friday’s 8 p.m. and Saturday’s 3 p.m. Master Follies performances.
“From reunions and cheering on the Chaps to supporting scholarships through the 5K and enjoying student creativity at Master Follies, Homecoming weekend truly captures the heart of LCU,” Fraze said.
