LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The Lubbock County Tax Assessor-Collector’s office inside City Bank will close permanently on Feb. 20 at 5 p.m.
The office is located at 5219 City Bank Parkway. City Bank officials said they need the space for their own operations as the bank continues to grow.
“City Bank has been an excellent partner for Lubbock County for many years by providing the location for Lubbock County taxpayers,” county officials said.
Alternative locations available
Complete Tax Assessor-Collector services remain available at two other locations:
The Main Tax office is located at 916 Main Street Suite 102 in Lubbock. Residents can schedule appointments by calling 806-775-1344.
The Slaton Tax office operates inside Smith Ford Dealership at 1700 W. Division in Slaton.
Limited vehicle registration renewal services are provided at United Supermarket, Market Street and Amigo’s locations in Lubbock, H-E-B stores, and 2J’s Thriftway in Idalou.
