A 39-year-old man died days after crashing into a median on Highway 360 in Arlington. He wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, and alcohol wasn’t involved, police say.

ARLINGTON, Texas — A 39-year-old man died after crashing on State Highway 360 over the weekend, police said.

The Arlington Police Department (APD) said officers responded at approximately 11:46 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 1 to the southbound lanes of Highway 360 just north of I-20 to investigate a single-vehicle crash.

APD said investigators found that a 39-year-old man who was driving a 2010 Toyota Corolla, lost control of his vehicle and struck a concrete median twice. The man, whose identity was not released, went to the hospital and died days later on Feb. 4, APD said.

The driver was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash, APD said. Investigators also said alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the crash based on the evidence from inside the vehicle.
