EL PASO (KTSM) — El Paso FBI is sharing information with the community about the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the mother of “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie.

The El Paso FBI post about Nancy Guthrie was shared on Thursday, Feb. 5, nearly five days after her disappearance was reported on Jan. 31.

Nexstar, KTSM’s parent company, reported that Nancy Guthrie, 81, was last seen Saturday night after she was dropped off at her home in Tucson, Arizona. Her home is over 300 miles east of El Paso, about a 4 1/2-hour drive.

The FBI noted that Nancy Guthrie is “a vulnerable adult who has difficulty walking, has a pacemaker and needs daily medication for a heart condition.”

Nancy Guthrie is described as a white woman being 5-foot-4-inches, weighing 150 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

There is a $50,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of Nancy Guthrie and/or the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance.
