EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Panera Bread is set to open its third bakery-café in far east El Paso.

The restaurant will be located at 12304 Eastlake Blvd.

The grand opening is scheduled for 6 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23, and will feature a community celebration, special giveaways, and a “bread-breaking” ceremony.

The first 100 guests will receive free “You Pick Two” meals for a year, allowing them to choose any combination of two half-size entrees from the menu each month.

The new café will operate from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.

It will offer digital ordering, mobile pick-up, delivery, drive-thru, and catering services, aiming to provide convenience for guests on the go.

The location plans to hire 55 to 60 local employees.

In addition to the grand opening festivities, Panera invites local nonprofits, including schools and scout groups, to host fundraising nights.

From Oct. 23, 2025, through Jan. 23, 2026, Panera will donate 30% of net event sales back to participating organizations.

“We’re proud to bring a new Panera to El Paso,” said Michael Sanchez, Director of Retail Operations. “We’re committed to continue serving not just great food, but also the El Paso community.”
