Rori Harmon makes Longhorns history

Harmon’s steal with 1:08 remaining in the third quarter made her the Longhorns’ all-time leader in that category. Harmon deflected a pass intended for LSU’s Kate Koval. The two players were tied up going for the loose ball, but Texas had the possession arrow which gave Harmon the record-setting steal.

With steal No. 347, Harmon surpassed Linda Waggoner atop the all-time steals list. She finished Thursday’s game with five steals, giving her 349 for her career.

Harmon is also Texas’ all-time leader in assists. She boosted that career total to 898 with five assists versus the Tigers. When she set the steals record, Harmon became the first active Division I player to lead her program in career steals and assists.
