Two pedestrians are dead and two others remain hospitalized after a major accident in North Dallas, officials say.
Dallas Police say officers got the call around 6:20 p.m. and responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Frankford Rd and Coit Rd.
Officials say four people were taken to local hospitals, with Dallas Fire and Rescue saying two of the people were from a vehicle and the other two were pedestrians.

The two pedestrians were later pronounced dead at the hospital, the two people in the vehicle had non-critical injuries, officials say.
Dallas police say this is an ongoing investigation.
The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the two pedestrians once next of kin are notified.
