A fire shut down the Texas Roadhouse on Wolf Rd. in Colonie.
COLONIE, N.Y. (WNYT)- A fire at a popular restaurant in Colonie has caused it to temporary shutdown.

Texas Roadhouse on Wolf Road closed after a kitchen fire damaged part of the ventilation system. The fire occurred around 11:15 a.m. when the restaurant was closed to customers, but employees were preparing for a 3 p.m. opening.
“So the employees were here getting ready to open up today and they realized they had a fire in one of their hood systems,” Fuller Road Fire Department Chief Michael Romero said.
“We have had grease fires here before. We’ve had electrical fires here before. We do get an occasional fire alarm here,” he said.

Firefighters arrived within minutes, and the flames were quickly brought under control. Employees evacuated, and no injuries were reported.
