An idyllic weekend should be ahead for North Texas with balmy temperatures and sunny days, but rain could be around the corner.

Friday is forecast to have a high of 78 degrees, the warmest day D-FW has seen in weeks, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office. Clear skies and a light breeze should amplify the feeling of spring.

Colder air is predicted to move in during the evening, dropping the high Saturday 10 degrees to 68. Despite that shift, conditions should otherwise be fairly consistent with lots of sunshine and overnight lows in the 40s.
