Pat Flanagan scored 14 points and Kael Berry finished with 13 to lead Dallas to a 47-38 win over Crestwood in a Wyoming Valley Conference Division 1 boys’ basketball game on Thursday night in Dallas Twp.
The Division 1 champion Mountaineers close the regular season with a 12-0 record. They will head to the WVC tournament to take on the No. 2 seed from Division 2 on Thursday at Wilkes-Barre Area at a time to be announced. Crestwood ends the regular season at 8-4, but qualifies for the WVC tournament and will play the No. 1 seed from Division 2, Wyoming Area, on Thursday at Wilkes-Barre Area at a time to be announced.
Brady Mizzer scored six points for Dallas, while Joey Nocito, Tyce Mason and Chris Flanagan each scored four.
Ayden Agapito led Crestwood with 14 points. Gio Barnia scored 13, and Miles Metz finished with six.
MMI Prep 50, Lake-Lehman 38
Jandel Figueroa led all scorers with 18 points and Nate Kringe had 15 to lead the host Preppers.
Josef Doviciak added 10 points for the Preppers, who swept the season series from the Black Knights.
Alex Smith led Lake-Lehman with 16 points, Robbie Wilson scored seven and Gavin Smigielski had five.
Weatherly 57, Palmerton 54
Corbin Wagner netted 21 points and Ian Mckeegan added 19 as the Wreckers ended their regular season with a non-league victory over visiting Palmerton,
Weatherly (15-7) trailed, 41-36, after three quarters, but rallied behind Mckeegan’s nine points and Wagner’s seven in the fourth period.
Cameron Pengelly topped rhe Blue Bombers with 19 points.
The Wreckers next will be in action in the District 2-11 Class A Subregional Tournament against an opponent to be determined and at a site, date and time to be announced.
Mahanoy Area 57, Tamaqua 51
In Tamaqua, Cam Smith paced the Golden Bears with 20 points in their Schuylkill League Division I make-up game. Ryan Zilker and Nico Dicasimirro added 14 and 12, respectively, and Connor Bowman tossed in eight.
The Blue Raiders’ Gavin Edmonds led all scorers with 22 points. Teammate Jakin Edmonds contributed 16, including four three-point baskets.
H.S. Girls’ Basketball
Weatherly 36, Columbia-Montour Vo-Tech 25
Kelly Reiner canned 14 points and Maci Kane had 10, including 6-of-8 free throws, to spark the Lady Wreckers’ win.
Clara Guyer showed the way for the Rams with nine points.
Freshman Girls’ Basketball
Hazleton Area 46, Wilkes-Barre Area 13
Ava Lenko and Ella Bartholomew each scored 15 points and Leila Walck also played well offensively for the Lady Cougars.
Ella Sones, Lisnett Pena and Sonia Diaz led the locals on defense.

Colts’, Raiders split
Boys
Andrew Metters and Michael Strucko both swam to two individual first-place finishes and were part of two winning relay teams, as the Colts took the boys’ potion of the Schuylkill League meet, 59-56.
Metters touched the wall first in the 50 and 100-yard freestyle. He joined Strucko, Reece Steibler and Ryan Metters for the winning 200 freestyle relay and was with James Gomez, Steibler and Strucko on the first-place 400-freestyle relay team.
Strucko added individual firsts in the 200 free 100 backstroke.
For the Blue Raiders, Aidan Elston led the way with a win in the 500 freestyle; Brandon Temarantz added a first in the 100 breaststroke. Thomas Graham and William Behun joined Elston for the winning medley relay.
Girls
Janna Brown (200 free, 100 free), Shayleee Gormely (200 IM, 100 butterfly) and Savannah Wilson (50 free, 100 breaststroke) were double winners for Tamaqua, which beat Marian, 105-30. Lyla Clemson chipped a win in the 500
Relay winners included the 200-medley foursome of Kate Behun, Wilsnon, Audrey Nattress and Ava Jones; the 200-freestyle quartet of Brown, Matteo, Jones and Gormley; and 400 relay team of Behun, Brown, Wilson and Gormley.
Marian’s Lydia Strucko placed first in the 100 backstroke.
