A Fort Worth firefighter is recovering after being burned while battling a 2-alarm fire at a warehouse on Friday morning.

The Fort Worth Fire Department said they were called to a warehouse fire at about 6:45 a.m. Friday on the 2100 block of Terminal Road. When firefighters arrived, they reported seeing heavy fire and called for a second alarm to bring in additional resources, including more firefighters and fire trucks.

The fire department said a firefighter sustained a burn injury and was transported to a hospital. The injury is not believed to be serious. An update on the firefighter’s condition has not been provided.

The fire was placed under control in a little over two hours, and crews will remain on-site for part of the day.
