A North Dallas High School student is making history and paving the way to entrepreneurship, and it’s something good.

What began as a small business called Puc.ker Up! By Willo Dior during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, it has now become a venture she can learn from in and out of the classroom.

When she was just 11-years-old, she and her mom started researching how to make lip gloss. Together, they created a natural product that is now sold on her own, homemade cosmetics line website. Willo said she ordered lip gloss bases and oils and experimented with different formulas to create a product that was safe and naturally derived.

Through her Career and Technical classes in Dallas ISD, she has had the opportunity to learn how to strengthen her business through lessons in marketing, finance, customer service, and professional communication.
