El Paso VA asks community to send Valentine cards to veterans

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso VA Healthcare System wants the El Paso community to send Valentine’s Day cards to veterans.

The local Veterans Affairs wants the community to send Valentines as part of the National Salute to Veteran Patients Week, which is from Feb. 8-14.

Cards can be mailed to: the El Paso VA Healthcare System, Attention: Center for Development and Civic Engagement, 5001 N. Piedras, El Paso, TX, 79930.

Sending Valentine’s cards is a simple, meaningful way to let veterans know that they are remembered, and to honor their service and sacrifice, the local VA said.
