SAN ANTONIO – The Spurs have made a major donation to the community on the Northwest Side!
The San Antonio Spurs have announced plans to invest $10 million to convert their former practice facility in the Medical Center into a multi-purpose community center, to be named the “Spurs Impact Center.”
The facility, which once housed the development of many championship teams, is set to inspire the community through educational programs and various activities.
“And it brings me great joy and excitement how the foundation of what was built here can be carried forward and passed forward,” a spokesperson said.
The transformation aims to offer a space that will benefit the community with diverse programs and opportunities.
