The Austin Police Department is putting out a call for the community’s help in finding a North Austin woman who went missing in late January.

According to an APD press release, 51-year-old Tracy Jeff left her apartment near the 8200 block of North FM 620 Road on Jan. 24.

Police Searching for North Austin Woman Missing Since January

Jeff was seen walking toward a nearby Whataburger, but hasn’t contacted family or the staff at her apartment since then.

Investigators found Jeff’s phone in her apartment, but her car was gone from the parking lot. The press release notes that “due to mental health concerns, APD detectives are concerned for her immediate welfare.”

The press release describes Jeff as a white female, 5’1″ in height, 140 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. Police are urging anyone who sees Jeff to immediately contact 9-1-1.

Other Recent Missing Adult Cases in Austin

Last month, APD’s Missing Persons Unit requested help in locating 69-year-old Bernard Johnson on the eve of severe weather. Johnson was later found safe.

On Jan. 18, APD issued a missing adult alert for 73-year-old George “Joe” Lambert, who was last seen at about 2 p.m. around the 5200 block of Tahoe Trail.

The concern was also related to health conditions and severe winter weather. Lambert is 5’9″, 170 pounds, and usually wears a short beard.

The same day, the Missing Persons Unit asked the community to look out for Ramon Gonzalez Almager. The 82-year-old Spanish speaker was last seen at the 600 block of Radam Lane on Jan. 18. He is 5’10”, 180 pounds, and walks with a cane.

There are currently no updates on the whereabouts of Lambert or Gonzalez Almager. Call 9-1-1 with any tips or information.
