4 El Paso high school mariachi bands to compete at state

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Four Ysleta Independent School District mariachi groups earned a Division 1 rating and have the chance to compete in the UIL State Mariachi Contest.

Mariachi Los Conquistadores from Del Valle High School, Mariachi Reyna from Eastwood High School, Mariachi Los Trovadores from Hanks High School and Mariachi Cielo Azul from the Young Women’s Leadership Academy have all earned a Division 1 rating.
