The Arlington Fire Department said the incident happened while the man was doing routine maintenance under the trailer.
ARLINGTON, Texas — A man is in critical condition after being trapped beneath a tractor trailer Saturday morning in Arlington, officials say.
According to the Arlington Fire Department, a crew was called about the incident at about 9:30 a.m. Saturday to a light industrial facility in the 12800 block of Colloway Cemetery.
The victim was reportedly doing routine maintenance on a hopper-style trailer when the incident happened, officials said.
Officials say AFD’s Technical Rescue Team was immediately dispatched to the incident. Upon arrival, the unit reportedly found bystanders helping lift the trailer off the man. Firefighters completed extracting the man, removing him within three minutes of arrival.
The victim was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital. He has not yet been identified.
