EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — One person was killed in a crash involving a pedestrian in far East El Paso early Sunday morning, Feb. 8, El Paso Police said.

The crash happened just after 2 a.m. at Tim Foster Street and East Cove.

One person was taken to a hospital and has died from their injuries, police said.

The Special Traffic Investigations unit is looking into the crash.

This is the second serious crash involving a pedestrian to happen within hours. The other happened Saturday night, Feb. 8 in the Lower Valley.
