Dallas police are investigating multiple homicide cases reported across the city during the first week of February, according to separate press releases from the Dallas Police Department.
Double Homicide Near Good Latimer Expressway
On February 7, at approximately 1:35 a.m., officers responded to a stabbing call in the 400 block of North Good Latimer Expressway.
A preliminary investigation determined that 28-year-old Alyshah Punjani and 30-year-old Adrian Williams Jr. were stabbed during a fight in the 2600 block of Floyd Street. Both victims were transported to a local hospital, where they later died.
Police identified the suspect as 27-year-old Sergio Naffarratte. Authorities said Naffarratte was treated at a local hospital for a minor cut and released before being taken into custody. He was charged with two counts of capital murder and booked into the Dallas County Jail.

Shooting on South Jim Miller Road
On February 5, at approximately 10:25 p.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting call in the 200 block of South Jim Miller Road.
Officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the victim to a local hospital, where he died. The Dallas County Medical Examiner will assist with identifying the victim.
During the investigation, officers identified 44-year-old Juaquai Gregg, who was found to have an outstanding warrant and was arrested. Police said no arrests have been made in connection with the homicide investigation itself.

Woman Killed in Green Cove Lane Shooting
On February 2, at approximately 3:55 p.m., officers responded to a shooting call in the 800 block of Green Cove Lane.
A preliminary investigation determined that 28-year-old Tabatha Jones was shot at the location. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported Jones to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Police arrested 49-year-old Shanika Battle at the scene and charged her with murder. Authorities said the suspect and victim were known to one another.
