Thrill-seekers in Texas are one step closer to experiencing a record-breaking ride. Six Flags Over Texas announced the completion of the roller coaster with the world’s tallest vertical loop, an 18-story, 179-foot steel structure.
Celebrating the achievement, the Dallas-Fort Worth theme park lit up the Tormenta Rampaging Run for the first time on Thursday, February 5. The vertical loop was illuminated in vivid red, creating a striking display visible for miles across Texas. The lighting moment marked both the completion of the loop and the continued rise of what will become the first and only giga dive coaster in the world, according to Six Flags Over Texas.
