EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A pedestrian has died after being struck in a crash early Sunday morning in East El Paso, according to the El Paso Police Department’s Special Traffic Investigations Unit.
Police say officers responded to a collision involving a pedestrian near Tim Foster Drive and East Cove around 2:09 a.m. Sunday.
One person was transported to a local hospital, where they later died from their injuries.
No additional information about the victim or the circumstances of the crash has been released at this time.
Special Traffic Investigations is handling the case as the investigation continues.
