LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The City of Lubbock says beginning Tuesday, February 10, workers will close two southbound lanes on Slide Road, from 47th Street to 51st Street, for concrete work.
The work is scheduled to be completed by February 17, weather permitting.
Also beginning Tuesday, workers will close two eastbound lanes on 82nd Street, approaching Quincy Avenue, for Primary to install utility poles.
The work is scheduled to be completed within the day, weather permitting.
The City urges motorists to use an alternate route if possible, eliminate distractions, and plan for extra travel time when driving through the area.
