EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — El Paso High School continued its long-standing tradition with the Spring Fiesta Parade on Friday, a celebration dating back to 1947.
The event, held at El Paso High School in central El Paso on Friday, showcased the Spring Fiesta Royal Court and various student organizations.
Approximately 80 students participated in this year’s court.
Speaking to KFOX14/CBS4 on Friday, Emiliano Carrillo, a junior at El Paso High School, said, “It’s just, it’s really cool to see all the clubs kind of come together. And, you know, really just, it’s more like bringing all of the essential groups from around campus together. You know, you don’t see that at homecoming.”
The parade moved through the school’s main hallway, allowing students to see and celebrate the court ahead of the Spring Fiesta dance this weekend.
