Aerospace and defense engineered components and specialty processes provider Novaria Group, a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, has acquired Plasma Ruggedized Solutions (PRS), a leading provider of highly reliable conformal coatings for sensitive electronics serving defense, medical, and advanced industrial applications.
“The acquisition of PRS is a strong strategic fit for Novaria,” Bryan Perkins, CEO of Fort Worth-based Novaria, said in a statement. “PRS’s deep expertise in plasma technologies and material sciences enhances our capabilities in a highly technical and growing segment of the aerospace and defense market, while reinforcing our commitment to quality, reliability, and customer-focused solutions.”
Novaria was acquired for $2.2 billion last November by Nashville-based Arcline Investment Management.

Headquartered in San Jose, California, PRS specializes in parylene coating, potting, and encapsulation solutions that protect electronics operating in harsh and demanding environments where performance and reliability are crucial. The acquisition further expands Novaria’s offerings in advanced surface protection technologies for mission-critical electronics.
“We’re excited to open a new chapter in Plasma Ruggedized Solutions’ history as part of Novaria,” said PRS CEO Jim Stameson. “Joining Novaria allows us to strengthen our operations and better support our customers’ needs.”
Alderman & Company served as the financial advisor to PRS on the transaction.
Founded in 2011 by Perkins, Novaria has assembled a family of suppliers that deliver “exceptional performance” for the aerospace and defense industry, the company said. Its niche products support more than 3,000 customers and can be found on almost every Boeing and Airbus commercial aircraft in service.
