Fire crews from the Coastal Bend battled a house fire on Leopard in Annaville on Monday. CCFD officials said no injuries were reported.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Fire crews from the Coastal Bend bend collaborated on Monday afternoon as the Corpus Christi Fire Department and Nueces County ESD #1 teamed up to take down a house fire on Leopard Street in Annaville.

CCFD Assistant Chief Frank Solansky served as the shift commander for the blaze, and told 3NEWS that no injuries were reported.

Solansky said that the main concern was containment, as the fire had leapt from the blazing home to a field next to Planet Fitness.

“Seems like the wind picked up as soon as we got here,” Solansky said.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Solansky said the residents were not home when the fire began.
