EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Movie enthusiasts in El Paso are facing disappointment as both Alamo Drafthouse locations in the city are set to close.
The company announced that its franchise partner, Triple Tap Ventures, will cease operations at four Texas locations, including those in west and east El Paso.
In a statement, the company expressed gratitude to employees and customers for their support and expressed hope to return to the community in the future.
All ticket purchases will be automatically refunded, and season pass subscriptions will be canceled with refunds.
For many movie fans, this marks a final farewell to the beloved old movie clips, trivia, and interactive movie parties that the theaters offered.
