COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KTRE) – Former Lovelady Lady Lion Mihyia Davis drove in two runs in Texas Tech’s 12-0 win over Bryant on Sunday.
Through six games, the senior is hitting .556 at the plate.
Davis started in center field and batted leadoff.
She was 1-for-2 with two RBI and a run scored. In the second inning, Davis singled to third base to bring in Lauren Allred and put the Red Raiders up 3-0. In the third, Davis fouled out to left field. The ball was hit deep enough to allow Kaitlyn Terry to score from third and put Texas Tech ahead 10-0.
Texas Tech went 6-0 on opening weekend. The Red Raiders head to Clearwater, Florida, for the Clearwater Invitational on Thursday. Tech will play Florida State and Northwestern on Thursday before facing Florida Atlantic on Friday.
