Waffle House will be turning down the lights for Valentine’s Day dinners at four locations in the Houston area, according to online promos and the company’s website.
The restaurants in Pasadena, Webster, Humble and Cypress are among the more than 200 nationwide participating in this by-reservation-only tradition where guests can dine out in romantic fashion.

The company didn’t provide details in a short promo for the offer, but the official Waffle House Instagram page teases viewers with a glimpse of what they could expect: dimmed lights, a lone candle and long-stemmed roses atop a red tablecloth, and to top it off, the 1948 song, “So This Is Love” From Disney’s original animated film, Cinderella, playing in the background.
The Valentine’s Day tradition started in 2008 at a Georgia restaurant and has become a yearly event, the company said in a statement.
