National Salute To Veteran Patients Week is here and El Pasoans are asked to help cheer up sick or injured veterans with Valentines Day cards.

Valentines Day is right around the corner and many veterans in El Paso and throughout the Borderland are going to spend it laid up in the hospital.

Let’s show them some 915 love and put smiles on their faces with a TON of Valentines Day cards and well wishes between now and the 14th.

It’s not just Valentines Day cards, you can do other things to show our veterans that we care about them and appreciate their service during National Salute to Veteran Patients Week and throughout the rest of the year.

You Can Send Also Cards To Active Duty Military

The El Paso VA Healthcare System is inviting community members to take part in National Salute to Veteran Patients Week by sending Valentine’s Day cards to veterans receiving care at its facilities.

The national observance runs from Feb. 8 through Feb. 14 and is held annually during the week of Valentine’s Day to encourage visits, volunteer service and messages of gratitude for hospitalized veterans. – KVIA

National Salute to Veteran Patients Week was established to honor veterans receiving care at VA medical centers and to strengthen connections between veterans and the communities they served. – KVIA
