The replacement fire station for Fort Worth Fire Department Fire Station 37 is underway in north Fort Worth.
Walls for the new facility are being erected, and the project could be wrapped up by the end of the year, according to the Fort Worth Fire Department‘s public information office.

The new station is located at 10600 Alta Vista Road on 4.075 acres at the intersection of Alta Vista Road and Golden Triangle Boulevard. The station will have eight bedrooms, two officer living accommodations, offices and six firefighter living accommodations, according to previous reporting.
A groundbreaking for the facility took place Dec. 17, 2024. The current fire station is located at 4721 Ray White Road in Keller, according to previous reporting.
The background
The project’s funding comes from the 2022 bond program and costs a total of $12.9 million to build the station, according to a news release. Fort Worth City Council approved an additional $3.4 million in funding to cover increased construction costs in October 2024, Community Impact previously reported.
The new station is part of a strategic plan to improve fire services across multiple districts, ensuring readiness and rapid response capabilities, according to a news release.
Fire Station 37 was built in 1998 as a temporary location.
