Mr. Lewis’ path into real estate began during his undergraduate studies at the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and real estate in 2019. While studying finance, he recognized that his interests aligned more closely with tangible assets and people-focused work.
Drawn to the physical nature of real estate and the environments it creates, Mr. Lewis committed early to building a career in the industry. While still in college, he set a disciplined goal of meeting five professionals per week to better understand the real estate landscape in Austin. After dozens of meetings, he identified the right team and opportunity, ultimately joining CBRE, where he has now spent six years developing his practice.

Throughout his career, Mr. Lewis has emphasized consistency, transparency and ethical decision-making. Working in a commission-only environment, he believes every detail matters, regardless of transaction size. He prioritizes clear communication, accurate representation and fairness, viewing trust as essential in a highly personable business that involves constant interaction with tenants, brokers and ownership groups.

In addition to his work at CBRE, Mr. Lewis is the co-founder and owner of Zest & Co., a community-focused events company launched in 2022. The venture was created to bring people together in a city shaped by rapid growth and out-of-market migration.
Through Zest & Co., Mr. Lewis has helped create shared experiences that transform strangers into connected communities. The company has hosted more than 25 events, sold over 5,000 tickets and received support from the City of Austin, including a grant from the Austin Live Music Fund. The project remains a passion-driven extension of his professional network and people-first philosophy.
Looking to the Future
Mr. Lewis also serves as president of the Commercial Brokers Association and has previously been a member of the Urban Land Institute.
