It’s a good time to be a fan of Texas Tech sports. The Red Raider football team had a historic season that they look to build upon months from now and while the football team did dominate the headlines for a while, they aren’t the only success story for Texas Tech Athletics so far this season.
Texas Tech Men’s Basketball Ranked In The Top 25
Here’s something that won’t shock basketball fans, Big 12 Basketball is good, really good this season. Oh, and so are the Red Raiders. While Texas Tech has had a rough go of it lately, it’s a long season against great competition. The Red Raiders are currently ranked #16 according to the AP. Other Big 12 teams ranked in the AP Poll:
1. Arizona
3. Houston
5. Iowa State
9. Kansas
22. BYU
Texas Tech plays Arizona on Saturday.
Lady Raider Basketball Winning Too
Is Lady Raider Basketball back? The Lady Raiders are currently 22-3, 9-3 in the Big 12 and are ranked #16 in the AP Poll. The Lady Raiders continue to climb in the AP Poll and are turning people into believers. If you haven’t been paying attention to Lady Raider Basketball, it’s probably time that you should. And if you haven’t been to a game in Lubbock, you should as well.

Texas Tech Softball put people on notice last season that they were good. It’s very possible they are even better this season. The Red Raider Softball team in currently 6-0 and is just dominating the competition. They are currently the #1 team in the nation.
If this continues, Texas Tech sports fans will have a lot to cheer about this spring.
