Water on Bissonnet Street (Houston Police Department)
HOUSTON – Houston police are asking people to avoid an area on Bissonnet Street after a water main break.
The break happened in the 1500 block of Bissonnet Street, between Mandell Street and Parkway.
An image shared by HPD shows a large amount of water in the street from the break.
Drivers are asked to seek alternate routes.
Earlier Tuesday, a large flood of water was seen in a neighborhood in Kingwood. The incident was also believed to have been due to a water main break.
