LUBBOCK, Texas. (WIBW) – Kansas women’s basketball fell to Texas Tech 70–65 on Tuesday night in Lubbock.
Despite leading early, Kansas struggled with 20 turnovers, which allowed Texas Tech to get more scoring opportunities. KU also held Tech to a 35% shooting from the field, but the Red Raiders’ free throws made the difference.
For the Jayhawks, S’Mya Nichols had 15 points, and Jaliya Davis added 14 points.
KU will return home to host Houston on Saturday at 4 p.m.
