The Federal Aviation Administration has grounded all flights to and from El Paso International Airport for “special security reasons.”

It did not explain why those restrictions were put in place for El Paso, which is borders Mexico.

The notice also cover the airspace over El Paso, and the neighboring community of Santa Teresa, New Mexico.

The travel advisory includes all commercial, cargo and general aviation from Feb. 10 at 11:30pm MST to Feb. 20 at 11:30 MST. The airport is asking travelers to get in touch with their airline for the most up to date flight information.

This is a developing story.
