AUSTIN, Texas — One person died and three others were injured in a two-vehicle collision in east Austin early Wednesday morning, according to Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services.
ATCEMS responded to the crash at 7106 Loyola Lane at 7:14 a.m. after reports of a collision involving four patients, with one person pinned inside a vehicle and unconscious.

Paramedics extricated the trapped patient and performed CPR, but the patient was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene.
One teenager and two children were taken to Dell Children’s Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, according to ATCEMS.
