Nominations for the 36th annual Best of San Antonio Readers’ Choice awards have opened, inviting you to submit the names of your favorite people, places, dining spots, businesses and things to do in the Alamo City.
This year, the Current is accepting nominations in more than 150 categories across six groups: Food & Drink, People, Shopping, Around Town, Nightlife and Services.
Now through Friday, May 1, you will be able to nominate local favorites once per day. Emphasis on “local” here, since only Texas-based businesses and people are qualified to move on to the judging round.
Once nominations close, we’ll review the entries to determine the five-plus top finalists in each category, which will move on to the next phase of voting.
The voting round will run Wednesday, May 13 through Wednesday, June 24. Winners will be revealed in the Current’s Best of San Antonio issue on Wednesday, July 22.
