Country superstar Chris Stapleton will headline the 2026 Cattle Baron’s Ball, organizers announced recently.

The Western-themed event will be on Oct. 17 at Southfork Ranch in Parker, about 25 miles north of Dallas. The biggest single-night fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, it has raised over $111 million for cancer research since its founding in 1974.

Stapleton is a Kentucky native who has won 12 Grammy Awards, 19 Country Music Association Awards and 21 Academy of Country Music Awards. He has sold over 10 million albums, with his 2015 debut record, Traveller, being his most popular. The album included the well-known single “Tennessee Whiskey.”

His performance will follow Grapevine-raised rapper-turned-country singer Post Malone’s show at 2025’s Cattle Baron’s.
