Those are some of the new foods we’ll see at the Houston rodeo this year, which runs March 2 to 22. From deep-fried carnival classics to fine dining, rodeo fare is indulgence at its finest.
The rodeo will debut a new on-site fine dining restaurant 1932 Cattleman’s Club from Fertitta Entertainment, which replaces Berg Hospitality’s The Ranch. Fertitta Entertainment will also debut Chute 32, a quick-service restaurant outside the East VIP Club entrance and north of 1932 Cattleman’s Club. That menu will include wagyu on a stick, lobster rolls, the “midnight cowboy dog,” smoked brisket nachos and a loaded potato.
Here is a list of all the new foods we’ll see at the Houston rodeo. Vendors range in location from Rodeo Plaza, a line of food tents outside; Circle Drive, just outside of NRG Center; inside the NRG Center lobby; and the Junction, the east end of NRG Park. To easily find food vendors, rodeo goers are encouraged to download the Rodeo Houston app, which has a navigation function.
