LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Wednesday will bring unseasonably warm temperatures across the region with highs climbing to the mid 60s.
KCBD(KCBD)
While this is only a couple of degrees warmer than Tuesday, it will feel pleasant with mostly sunny skies and light southerly winds developing through the early afternoon.
The upper-level system that brought showers Tuesday evening has moved eastward, clearing the way for dry conditions through Wednesday night.
Overnight lows Wednesday will be warmer than typical for mid-February, ranging from the upper 30s to lower 40s across the region.

Change arrives late week
KCBD(KCBD)
The quiet pattern won’t last long. High chances of widespread rainfall are expected late this week as the upper ridging breaks down and a new system moves into the region.

Until then, Thursday is shaping up to be a very warm day.
